Overview
A complete operations platform built to replace the disconnected tools that agencies and freelancers use to manage clients, projects, documents, invoices, and team communication.
OneClient started as a question: what would it look like if an agency could run everything from one system instead of stitching together separate tools for project management, invoicing, file sharing, and client communication?
We built three distinct portals, each designed for a different role. The client portal gives clients a branded space to view project progress, download documents, send messages, and review invoices without needing to call or email. The admin portal provides full operational control: client management, project creation, invoice generation, document organization, and team oversight from a single dashboard. The team portal gives employees the context they need to do their work, with task assignments, project timelines, and internal communication.
The platform handles the full lifecycle of a client relationship. From onboarding and project scoping through active work, document exchange, and invoicing, everything lives in one place with role-based access controlling who sees what. The system includes real-time messaging, document management with secure storage, and professional invoice creation linked directly to projects.
OneClient is live and operational, serving as both a standalone product and a reference implementation that demonstrates what a purpose-built client operations platform looks like when every feature is designed to work together.
About
Centralized
visibility.
A complete operations platform built to replace the disconnected tools that agencies and freelancers use to manage clients, projects, documents, invoices, and team communication.
Challenge
Agencies and freelancers typically run on a patchwork of disconnected tools: one for project management, another for invoicing, a file sharing service for documents, email for client communication, and a spreadsheet for tracking it all. Clients have no single place to check on their projects, review deliverables, or find invoices. The result is constant context-switching for the team, endless status update emails, and a client experience that feels fragmented and unprofessional.
Goal
Build a unified platform with three role-based portals: a client portal for self-service visibility, an admin portal for full operational control, and a team portal for day-to-day execution. Consolidate client management, project tracking, document storage, messaging, and invoice generation into a single system where everything is connected.
Solution
We designed and built a multi-portal platform from the ground up. The client portal surfaces project status, deliverables, documents, and invoices in a clean, branded interface. The admin portal provides complete control over client records, project workflows, team assignments, document organization, and invoice creation from one dashboard. The team portal gives employees focused views of their assigned work, project context, and internal communication tools. A shared data layer connects everything so a project created in the admin portal, a document uploaded for a client, and an invoice generated for that work are all linked and accessible from the right portal with the right permissions.
